Eastern Cape Education
Nehawu & Intrns

Dear Collegues fellow Interns, under graduates. Let us not be confused. We are unemployed in the Department but now serving as Interns who need work experience in order to be employable. I am cuurently not affiliatining in any labour union. But surely can say with no doubt that I am a future NEHAWU member. Cdres let us not confuse these thing politics and Departmentsl conflicts. U Nehawu showed a robust intrest towards achieving a goal of the President of the country esisesokwenyusa amathuba omsebenzi kwi Republik and that must not make people scared that Nehawu wantsa memebrship of Interns that is the p[olitical agenda of the ruling party. Mna myself and my fellow interns who are not afraid to disclose theri future NUnions I am saying Viva to NEhawu. Amandla is what makes us have faith in u. I am sure if we can all go back to our political schools and make i resesarch NEHAWU has not and will neva sell out. The interests of Labour is the Priority of this organisation. The onlything we can ask our Leaders of Nehawu is to giuve us political education Bcoz we are from Sasco and we beliv that we need to know what is ecxpected of a genuine cdre of Nehawu so come 1st April we will be clear ngo NEHAWU. I will make sure that 80% of the Unemployed graduates when they are absorbed they join the movement whose interest is to serve PSA appointed staff. I know i have done iy kwi YCl nothing will stop me here in the Dept.
About the extension of contracts vs absorption, wait & see before u comment what I can tell you is that its of your own advantage...... Viva NEHAWU amandla. All this comes from the futture leader of NEHAWU amandla.

Viva Lady D viva. i like your optimism. However no one has expressed anti-Nehawu sentiments. What we are saying is that we should not be politically 'hoodwinked' or lied to. when one wants us to join a particular political organisation and/or labour union s/he should not be tricky about it. An HRD/A matter should be an HRD/A matter i.e an administrative matter and must be approached as such. A political or labour union matter should also be treated as such without unecessary blurring the lines between the two.
