Eastern Cape Education
Full schools ??

Our children are being denied enrollment into schools in town as every one is supposedly closed. Surely they should be able to "squeeze" in 2 more children.

That is correct UR
we so fuuny we live SADTU to do as it pleases them in our schools now we want schools in town to take more than they can have, only becuase we arte afraid of confrunting people that disorganised schools. The very people that create disorder i n schools their children are getting the best education ever while poorest of the poor parents are suffering.

The schools are not closed, they are full. Which two children do you want to squeeze in ? There might be 20 parents who want to squeeze in two children - or more! Some schools in certain areas are empty while others are full. There are pupils without schools because the school in theit neighberhood is disfunctional. Why does the community not do something to improve their school, then you will not need to send your child to a full town school. With parent's interest and help (it does not have to cost money, only time) these disfunctional schools can be turned around and become functional. Interesting, I have never heard of pupils from town who wants to attend these "out of town" schools, wonder why?
