Different Unions have different ways of dealing with problems. Striking should be the last resort and is only a message from the masses. If you strike for everything all the time, nobody is going to listen to you because they are used to you striking about everything.

The final desisions about salaries, are made at the ELRC, not in the street. If you only want to give a pay increase to the people who are striking, it means that everybody must strike every year just to get a pay increase. You are then basically being paid to strike! What an absurd notion. Rather do your work, let the Unions negotiate at the ELRC and then if there is an serious deadlock, you can strike if your Union say so, if it is a legl strike and if you want to participate.

I suggest for the next strike that those who participate on strike must sign an agreement and be binded by any decission. BUT those individuals who feel not to strike will not be binded the agreement and the decission or outcome of the strike. In simple words: if you participate in strike you qualify for the benefits (i.e. package fight for) and work no pay apply. AND if you do not participate in strike you DO NOT qualify for the benefits (i.e. NO INCREASE) and work no pay must not appy.

ANC LED GOV STOP

That is what we know NEHAWU of , never mind these VUKA ENGCENI that want to co manage the department. How one wish we can learn a lesson in this whole SAGGA of unions making loud noise that they want a certain individual no one else as their SG now that everyone has compromised to their demand hardly a year down the line, they toyitoyi against him even though they forced our organisation to appoint him. Who is fooling who. If at all SG is gone again they are going to make a noise as if that is victory on they part , No we not fools we know that again millions of the very department that is in red will have to be paid to SG even if he has not finish his contract. He is also SA citizen and he knows his rights and law. Whow ANC led government STOP listening to these so called unions that think they know all whilst they know nothing except to disorganised the future of poor Eastern Cape children. We are sick and tired, time is running again EC will be the last in matric results, how can people who are in their right mind can start a year with boycoting of classes just becuase of one person that they forced everyone to accept. Cdes stop what you are doing. It is not going to take this province any where.
