Message to Grade 12 learners from the SG It is my great pleasure to wish you the best of luck for the forthcoming examinations.  Success in examinations is not automatic - it is the result of continuous effort and diligence.  I am certain that these two qualities are found in abundance in you, the learners of the Eastern Cape and your results will reflect your hard work and determination.

Your voyage to Grade 12 has been difficult and the challenges many, but I am certain the efforts you have made in overcoming your constraints will stand you in good stead.  As you embark on this final and most exciting stage of you journey - sailing confidently into the seas of life after Matric, do so with confidence and enthusiasm.

I trust and believe that the guidance you have recieved from your teachers and parents will assist you in making sound and serious decisions about your further education or seeking out your dream job.  We look forward to great things in the future from the Grade 12 Class of 2009.

Take inspiration from the words of our great leader, Nelson Mandela

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
