Invitation to ECDoE media briefing session

The Eastern Cape Department of Education wishes to extend an invitation to a Media Briefing Session to be hosted by MEC Mahlubandile Qwase and acting Superintendent General(SG) Harry Nengwekhulu.

The briefing session will, amongst others, offer an update on the following areas:

Comprehensive fraud and corruption investigations instituted by the Department last September 2009 through the Special Investigations Unit
The work done to date to strengthen the teaching and learning, the department’s curriculum delivery capacity
The comprehensive forthcoming holiday programme geared at maintaining critical learning momentum during the long ‘World Cup’ winter holidays.

After brief presentations by both MEC and acting SG, there will be an opportunity for an open question and answer interactive session for more detailed examinations of all aspects that may be of interest to the Media Corps.
