A partnership between the Soul City Institute Health and Development Communication (IHDC) together with the Nelson Mandela Foundation and Breadline Africa will see Nobuntu Primary school in Dimbaza Township receiving a container Library on Friday, the 30 September 2011 at 09H00.
This initiative of building nine container libraries in each Province by these companies is meant to encourage learners to read more, especially with books at their disposal. The container libraries will come with computers that will have internet and books which have been donated by different stakeholders. In the Eastern Cape, Nobuntu Primary school in Dimbaza has been chosen as the beneficiary of the container library.
Members of the media fraternity and communities in and around Dimbaza Township are cordially invited to witness the strides of progress made by the department and its stakeholders to ensure that teaching and learning conditions in schools have improved.
