Education partners to host SA Agulhas Voyage vessel
In celebrating the Maritime day, the Eastern Cape department of Education has partnered with the South African Maritime Safety Authority and the Coega Development Corporation to host an All Female SA Agulhas Voyage vessel in support of this campaign on Wednesday the 13th of October 2010 at the Port of Port Elizabeth, Fresh Produce Terminal at 10H00.

EC kick-starts the FET College summit
Eight of the Eastern Cape’s Further Education and Training (FET) colleges under the Eastern Cape department of Education will tomorrow the 12th of August 2010 kick-start the provincial FET Summit to be held at the Leadership Institute, Epsom Road, and Stirling in East London at 08:00 am.

German delegation visit  ECDoE  to kick start projects
Recently, a German delegation of four from the Baden-Wuttenberg visited the Eastern Cape Education department to check the readiness of Buffalo City FET College to offer Mechatronics Engineering studies to post National Certificate Vocational (NCV) level four students are geared for this 2011 project.

Battle lines are drawn for choral combat and there can be only one victor! Come August 29th and 30th, the stage will be set for all eight of the provinces’ FET Colleges each comprising of about 70 choristers, to compete in a choral music festival to be held at KSD FET College, Mthatha (Cicira)

Furniture refurbishment programme going ahead
