Education Depart's 2014 offer of centralized textbooks procurement
In view of the substantial success achieved by the Eastern Cape Education department with the centralized procurement of textbooks for 2013, it has thus decided to embark on a similar exercise for the procurement of textbooks for 2014.

Ndebele launches lunch box campaign

Excellent governance and efficient running has earned Jatyana primary school in Tyutyu Village outside King William's Town a surprise visit by the national department of Basic Education’s Deputy Director General of Social Responsibility and Auxiliary Services Branch, Gugu Ndebele as part of her National Nutrition (SNP) Week programme which started on the 9th -14th of October this year.

Geared-up, readily moving is the Eastern Cape department of Education’s Quality promotion and Standards Director under the directorship of Dr Sipho Lombo. The directorate’s main objectives are Standard Setting, Benchmarking and Designing Tools as it is a sub-directorate of Quality promotion and Standards commonly known as Service Standards Sub-Directorate.
