Attention: All Grade 12 learners
 
YOU have 150 days until the beginning of the November Examinations.
The Department of Education together with SABC Education will launch a Matric
Revision programme for Grade 12 learners on SABC 1, Monday to Friday from 14h00
to 15h00 starting 1st June 2009.
The programme will focus on Mathematics, Physical Science, English (First Additional
Language), Accounting, Life Sciences, Geography, History and Agricultural Sciences.
The Department of Education would like to urge all Grade 12 learners to ensure that
they watch these programmes which will assist them to prepare for the November
examinations.
Other support material available for Grade 12 learners include:
• Study Mate (Issue 1) survival tips to prepare you for the examinations. If you have
not received your copy please ask your teacher. Principals if your school did not
receive copies of this valuable resource please contact your district office.
• Maths 911 – These resources produced by Liberty Life for Grade 11 and 12 are
available from Independent Newspapers.
• Study Mate (examination revision papers) with DVD are available from
Independent Newspapers.
• The Matric Q & A - Look out for your bumper package of exemplar examination
papers on the 4th of October 2009 in the Sunday Times
• Use your Sowetan Power Your Future and Matric Matters as an additional
resource.
• Websites - All resources are available on www.education.gov.za and
www.thutong.org.
The Department of Education would like to take this opportunity to wish all Grade 12
learners “Good Luck” as they prepare for the November examinations.
