Re-issue of a matriculation certificate
You are issued a matriculation (matric) certificate when you pass Grade 12. A matric certificate may be re-issued to people whose matric certificates have been lost, stolen or damaged or to people who have changed their surnames.
Steps to follow
- Apply in person at Assessment and Examination Office in King William’s Town.
- Bring originally certified copy of your Identity Document (ID) together with a Postal Order of a R30 from Post Office.
- Provide details of where and when you wrote your examinations, including the following:
- Year
- Province
- School or examination centre
- Your examination number
