An educator who wishes to teach in South Africa has to register with the South African Council for Educators (SACE). You cannot be employed as an educator if you are not registered with SACE.
All foreign qualications obtained by an educator must be evaluated by the South African Qualificatoins Authority (SAQA) prior to his or her application for registration.

Steps to follow:
Apply to register with SACE by completing the revelant application form
Submit the following with the application form:
Certified copies of your professional diploma(s) and/or degree certificate(s)
Certified copy of your identity document
Registration fee
Non-South African citizens must have the following ready:
An evaluation report from SAQA
Proof of permanent residence and non-South African identity document
Proof of employment or pending employment by a school in South Africa
